British Champs Round 4 - Halifax Bruising Banditas v Spa Town Roller Girls

We are so excited to be hosting our first home bout this year! It's been over 12 months since our last Halifax based game and we are so stoked to be able to bring you Round 4 of the British Championships Tier 4 competition! It's going to be a cracking day of roller derby!

We had a bye in Round 3 which meant that we got to watch our competition and spend a little longer implementing our new training strategies. This time around we are playing Spa Town Roller Girls while Blackpool Roller Derby will be taking on Durham Roller Derby.

The first game of the day will see Blackpool Roller Derby play Durham Roller Derby. Neither of these teams have won a game yet this season so each of them will be keen to tally up a victory. This promises to be a fierce battle between two teams who have battled hard in every match up they've had.

We last played Spa Town in October last year and came away with a well fought win, Spa Town challenged us and exported our weak points. This time around we are hoping for a better win with our new found mental toughness and developed strategy. Spa Town have always been a very tough, physical team and it will take all of our fortitude to stand up to them and not get sucked into the game they want to play. But with attentive coaching from Scooby Zoom we are confident we will perform our best.
