British Champs 2016 Round 2 - Halifax Bruising Banditas v Durham Roller Derby

Oh my, time flies! We've barely had time to get over our tense Champs opener and our second bout is nearly upon us! This time we are taking a trip to Durham to face the host team, Durham Roller Derby, in the first ever game in the region! This really is a year of firsts in British roller derby and we are proud to be a part of it.

We've been putting these three short weeks to good use and can't wait to get rolling against Durham in the British Champs Round 2. Durham, unfortunately, had to pull out of Round 1 due to team injuries but they are ready and raring to go for Round 2! Our 2016 campaign got off to a thrilling start, here's hoping we continue in this winning fashion!

The double-header also features the match up between Granite City Roller Derby and Spa Town Roller Girls. Both teams and strong and powerful hitters so that game is sure to be a tough fought match.

It's going to be an exciting day of roller derby. If you fancy a short road trip we'd be chuffed to see you there!
